Walk Tall Scholars learn alongside peers who share a passion for intellectual curiosity, leadership, and academic excellence.

Engaging Seminars

Experience Beyond the Classroom

Honors students attend film screenings, art exhibitions, theatrical productions, and community events throughout the Omaha area, connecting ideas from class to the wider world.

Honors Program Curriculum

Students complete a series of honors learning experiences while pursuing their major.

First-Year Honors Seminar
Students begin with an Honors section of CORE 101: Leading with Mercy, exploring leadership and Mercy values with fellow honors scholars.

Honors Coursework
Students complete four additional honors courses that explore interdisciplinary topics and encourage critical inquiry.

Community Engagement
Students participate in events, cultural experiences, and service opportunities that connect learning to the wider world helping students think critically, act compassionately, and lead in a diverse world.
