Paying for College

Paying for college looks different for every student. The good news is that most CSM students receive some form of financial assistance. From guaranteed merit scholarships to grants, loans and work-study, we’re committed to helping you build a plan that makes sense for you and your family.

Financial aid process

Paying for college becomes much more manageable when you take it step by step. Our team will guide you through the process and make sure you understand each stage along the way.

Apply for Admission

Submit your application to CSM. Once you’re admitted, we can begin building your financial aid package.

Complete the FAFSA

File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine your eligibility for federal, state and institutional aid.

Review Your Award Offer

After you’re admitted to CSM and your FAFSA is processed, you’ll receive a financial aid offer outlining scholarships, grants and loan options.

Pay Your Tuition Deposit

Secure your spot at CSM by submitting your tuition deposit. Once received, you can register for classes, access housing information and begin preparing for your first semester.

Managing Your Account

Once you’re enrolled, Student Accounts helps you stay on top of billing, payments and important deadlines each semester. From viewing your statement to setting up a payment plan, you’ll find the tools and support you need to manage your account with confidence.
